Get Involved

We want Neural Cube to be shaped by more than just one pair of hands. If any part of the project makes you curious, there is likely room for you.

Ways to Contribute

  • Software. The multi-agent reasoning stack, perception, navigation, simulation and the digital twin, and the dashboard UI are all active areas of development.
  • Mechanics. Mechanical design, improving existing modules or building new ones.
  • Electronics. Sensors, actuators, and the boards that tie them together.
  • Design. Neural Cube strives to be a work of art rather than another industrial-style robot. This spans physical form and materials, 3D renderings, drawings, and animations, as well as personality, expressions, and sound design.
  • Testing. Build alongside the project, try to break things, and report what you find.
  • Documentation. Accurately and clearly documenting new features, and improving existing documentation where lacking.
  • Marketing and outreach. Helping more people discover Neural Cube through videos, posts, communities, and events.
  • Ethics and alignment. The self-learning system is meant to be shaped in the open, with many eyes. Thoughtful critique is always a contribution.

No robotics experience is required. Curiosity is the main qualification.
